Braeburn Café Newcastle

Really disappointing experience. The girl serving had extremely poor customer service no smile, no greeting, and acted like taking orders was a burden. The service was painfully slow even though the place wasn’t busy. The girl that was serving me was definitely not local, and the attitude was very unwelcoming and unprofessional. When you go to a coffee shop you expect basic friendliness and efficiency, but unfortunately that was completely missing. Definitely won’t be rushing back.

I’d give a 0 if I could they need to remove their entire menu everytime I got here they have no sandwiches no acai ?? Coffee is nice tho

Disgrace of a place and I usually like Braeburn. staff very rude and need massive improvement in customer service. Ordered a Large White Mocha and a Regular White Hot Chocolate and the lady at the till got both our drinks wrong. While making my white mocha another staff asked her what to use to finish off what I was expecting as my white hot chocolate, she just wasn't one bit helpful to her. I asked her if I asked for a White Mocha (knowing I did ask correctly) and she said no presenting me with a Mocha, but said it wasn't an issue to remake it, which I was thoughtful. I then was presented with a Regular Hot Chocolate which was luke warm and again not what I asked for. My mam was happy to keep it, but then I got my White Mocha which was absolutely stone cold and pusked me over the edge waiting about 20 minutes for these drinks. So I went up and asked for a refund thinking surely this won't be wrong and yo guessed it, I thought wrong. They called another staff member over who was sitting at the end of the collecting area eating etc and they forgot how to do the refund so he then had to call a member of Applegreen staff. My total was €9.50 paid with card and I showed both of them my transaction onmy phone and if felt like both of them honestly didn't care about it. When they refunded me, they couldn't get it right on the till and He told her that I payed with card and she said just put something else down to make it the right amount, but instead they only gave me €8.70 back on card with the other 60 cent "cashed off" and handed to me. With Customer Service, Barista and Management experience, I was extremely dissatisfied. Serious improvement needed. Not welcoming at all.
